When the Ally Pass season started on Aug 1, we converted everyone's upgrade tickets to XP. But it's not a 1:1 formula! For example, if you have 100 upgrade tickets, this doesn't mean you'll get 100 XP.
Rest assured, the more upgrade tickets you had, the more XP you will get.
I didn't get as much XP from my Upgrade Tickets as expected!
